Has anyone ever made or does Emerson have a EDS file for this module?
Hi Tim,
Not sure what you're asking. The module is a standard I/O module for DeltaV and as such doesn't need an EDS. The DeviceNet devices you connect to the module will require their own EDSs but the module is just another I/O card as far ad DeltaV is concerned.

Tim,
In addition to Bruce's information, the DeltaV card can ONLY act as a DeviceNet "Master"/Scanner. That's the reason there is no eds file as it can't be used as a "slave" device.
Is there something we can help you with regarding the use of the DeviceNet card?

Many of the Rockwell products have EDS's for their scanners. I was just wondering if there was one for DeltaV since I am configuring the network using RSnetwork for devicenet. Does the card only provide Polling as an option? Can it do strobe, cyclic or COS?

From what I see in books on line it only does polling.
Things are going well after moving to Maverick though we're not crazy about living in Houston. Raleigh was much nicer though one advantage here is winter only lasts about a month and is defined as being when the temperature gets below 60.
