BOL - Community Input

During one of the "Does anyone share" workshops presented by Emerson, a user asked if there was any way to give "community input" to the internet BOL.  There was some discussion in the room how this community input often creates the most usefull information.  Something like

"CREATING DYNAMOS page  - Script above should have dynOval not Oval1 in find sub"

This could lead to a more dynamic, or "Live" Books on Line.

There was an Emerson employee in the room who said such an initiative was under way, and that we could find information on joining the beta (or something like that) here in the 365 forum.

Anyone seen it?

  • Hi, I was the Emerson employee in the room and a prototype of the initiative I mentioned can be accessed through the thread found at : community.emerson.com/.../106.aspx

Emerson wants to make it easier to do your job, so I am working with all Emerson product groups to deliver technical information that is easy to find and easy to use.

The prototype contains some information from DeltaV BOL, Micro Motion and Rosemount articles. I would love your feedback, so please test it out and let me know what you think. You need a Google account to unlock the post and MyDoc features. If you like this, it something we can consider building right into this site - so you have 1 place to look for all your information, not 1 more place.

Also, check out the slides from Exchange session 5-2978 Downloads and Documentation: Emerson is here to help! for an overview of our program.
