I have a PK controller that currently has physical port 3 configured for Modbus TCP and is connected directly to a Tofino firewall which is then connected to our Modbus devices VLAN. Can I also configure the OPC UA Server to use that same physical port? If I can, would I specify the same IP address as I did for the Modbus TCP or a different IP on the same subnet? Otherwise I would need a switch between the PK and the Tofino so that I could use another physical port on the PK.
This note from the Explorer Help suggest I would need a new IP address....
Note:
OPC UA server connection IP addresses must not duplicate any others in the DeltaV database.
