EMERSON DELTAV PRGRAMMING

I tried to program deltaV DCS and  assigned and downloaded the program to the  controller successfully. When I tried go online View from the "control studio" I am getting a  error message as 

Failed to initiate online session. Check to make sure the deltaV services are running, the module is assigned and downloaded to the assigned node,and if the node is a controller the controller is commissioned.

(60)RT_NOT_CONFIGURED,not configured,make sure moduled and any associated modules have been downloaded in to the node.

I tried all steps in the error message. But got the same message again. Could anybody help me to correct the message and view online.

  • Are you on a professional station instead of the Pro Plus? The module table must be circulated to other nodes so they are aware of the module and its assigned node. Downloading changed set up data will update the affected file to your workstation. Did you download the ProPlus? This triggers updates to the other stations for setup download updates.

    Thank you Mr.Andre Dicaire for your kind response. I have professional work station and one controller( total two nodes). I could download the program to the controller successfully but cannot view online. The program downloaded to the workstation could view online other than PID block.
    Could you give the steps to remove the error mentioned in the previous query.

    The RT Not configured usually indicates that the Control Module is not defined in the runtime information of the system. In DeltaV Explorer, you see the configured information, such as the Node tree, assigned modules, etc. When you download the modules and nodes, this information is translated into the runtime files that get installed and transferred to the nodes. One of those files is called MODT.SCR. This is a list of all downloaded modules, their assigned location and some additional data used by workstations.

    Can you view other modules Online? If so, this confirms that the DeltaV services are running. If the issue was related to services not running, you would not see any Online sessions with any module. Also, being able to view other modules online confirms your system is running correctly, and the issue is related to this new module.

    If that is the case, I am thinking you need to download the Professional Plus station to update the runtime system with this module. Downloading Setup Data would accomplish the update to the MODT.SCR file. A total download of the Pro Plus will also work. You will see the Module Table being updated.

    If this does not address the issue, I would recommend you initiate a call with the GSC.
