Communicating DeltaV EIOC with Siemens S7-1200 using OPC UA

Dear all,

For the last year I am communicating variables between Siemens S7-1200 and S7-1500 PLCs via OPCUA with DeltaV.

In DeltaV I use the EIOC board as OPC UA client.

The problem I observe is that sometimes it stops communicating an LDT or part of an LDT after downloading the PDT or the complete EIOC.

Has anyone else experienced this problem? It should be noted that I work with a PRP network.

    Hi Ruben,

    I work with Caltrol, the Emerson Impact Partner on the west coast. We have had a customer with a similar issue. Emerson Advanced Services came to the site and in one day they were able to determine that the communication switch settings in one the switches were wrong configured, the comm setting was setup as half duplex comms instead of full duplex. Is it possible that you're facing similar issues with the switch settings?
