EDC with Out of Service option

 Hello, first time here.

So, I saw that PID MODE option have the option to be set in out of service mode, now what I'm looking for is to allow that in the EDC MODE option, but I'm not finding a way to do that.

  BOL clearly states that only AUTO and CAS modes are supported on EDC.
  
  What are you trying to do that you feel you require an "out of service" mode for the EDC. Maybe someone can help you with a solution.
  
  The main reason for "Out of Service" is to allow online changes to parameters that are used in the Function block internal calculations and would result in a sudden change . Some changes are rejected, such as PV_SCALE or OUT_SCALE while the FB is in service.
  
  On the EDC block parameters are accessible either in Auto or CAS or both, hence the two supported MODES. Note that some parameters are not writeable in any mode as they are derived by the module, MERROR, EXEC_TIME etc.

  The main reason would be to keep using the template module for discrete output from PCSD, we use that for valves or motors and what we want is, be able to set a mode where the parameters would not change, something like maintence state.
