Hi Marirh, Please use OPC dummy funnel server , this could help you to connect more than one server within same session.
The DCOM configuration of the FRSOPCDV or DeltaV OPC Server proxy server object installed by OPCRemote applies when connecting to LocalMachine or LocalHost as the OPC Server. You are literally connecting to a local stub version of the OPC server to facilitate pass-through to the remote OPC server on the DeltaV system as configured in the DCOM object's Location setting.
Per the following picture, you can connect your remote client directly to multiple DeltaV OPC servers by simply specifying the remote server in the client connection. The top OPCWatchit is a connection via the Local Machine method. The bottom right is the same OPC server specified in DCOM object, but called out directly by IP address. The bottom left is a completely different server, again called out by IP address. You can see that from the same client I can establish connections to different OPC servers provided the user running the client is valid for connection on both target remote DeltaV systems.
