Gentlemen,
In our plant we have both DVC 6000 & 6200, and I would like to know In which conditions i need to do Touch-up travel calibration ?, and how it will help to improve performance ?
Thanks and Regards,
Rashmikumar Vyas, I spoke with our instrumentation experts and they gave me the following response. A touch-up calibration would really only need to be performed if something had changed on the valve, actuator, or in the FIELDVUE instrument. Like if a component had been changed out. You would not want to do a touch up calibration if a problem was suspected until after diagnostics had been run, corrective actions completed, and you are ready to establish a new baseline calibration. Please let us know if you have other questions.
