This is most likely a scheduled cleaning of the database where no connections are allowed and you have to wait until this completes. Rebooting the Proplus may solve this but you should log a call with Global Service Center (GSC) if the reboot doesn't solve your issue and you are not trying to connect during the time the cleaning is scheduled to run or someone is manually starting it.

Rebooting the proplus allows us to make changes at the moment, but we are facing a recurring locking issue every two weeks, want to know which task is holding that lock.

As Matt indicates, this is most likely a scheduled clean of the database. This would show up in the windows task scheduler on the Pro+. Generally database cleans need to be performed periodically, though it can be scheduled at a time when no one is typically on the system.

thanks for the reply, Instead of daily cleaning at midnight, we will change that to weekly schedule & monitor the system.
