Anti surge design and Sizing

Hello All,

I have a few ideas to improvise the anti surge system. While I was lucky to find some info on modelling surge cycles during compressor coast down, I' am looking for info to zoom down to minimizing the number of process parameters needed to determine when the anti surge valve has to open, the effect of opening and closing of the anti surge valve on the compressor's operating point. Any info on such work done so far that is freely available to the public would be appreciated. Valve Sizing based on ANSI ISA S75.1 is the best I know. But if any open source work (publicly available research or white paper) on using a combination of valve characteristics for anti surge purposes would be appreciated.
