  • Hi Mohsenv

If the valve brand is Fisher you can directly contact Fisher local sales partner or local sales office to get all the required details. This serial number might belong to Europe world area, so you can retrive all data from Fisher serial card database thru your nearest Fisher sales office.

    Dear Mohsenv,
it seems the serial number, you provided us, is not accurate it should be EU +8 digit (numbers). coudl you please ensure your serial number to better support you.

    Mohsenv,
it seems what you mentionned us is probably a Fisher regulator (see the below link)

I am still lokking extra information for you. When available I'll let you know.
    Eric
  • In reply to Eric ALONSO:

That is not a Fisher Regulator, it is a control valve model EWT with CAVIII - 1-Stage Trim. As you mentioned, the serial number is not showing up in the database. I've requested help from our records folks.

    Hi
    Thanks
  • In reply to MOH:

As Eric mentioned above, the serial number doesn't match our format for our EU (European) start with a EU03 + 6 digits

Looks like its time for RFID tags on valve bodies and actuators so you can just scan it and automatically get the history from the web. Good point Jonas. hopefully to see in future. who knows good idea for field device mounted on valev to have RFID tag. By the way, If DVC (Digital Valve Controller) is mounted on it, will be easy to get serial number of valve.
  • In reply to Jonas Berge:

    Reliability is on it.

Yes. I was got to see the RFID tag storing all the valve and actuator data at the Emerson Exchange last October. This is a great digital transformation of the good old identification plate. See video
