FIELDVUE has built in travel transducer. If travel transducer for some reason, if travel transducer fails, FIELDVUE Digital Valve Controller (DVC) will automatically revert to pressure control mode, which turns DVC basically into I/P mode. Do you have SOV pneumatically in series with DVC for the shut off valve? If you can please provide your location, we can have Emerson local engineer contact you to go in more details.
