pressure gauge range selection

HI

A pressure gauge is to be installed downstream of a PCV. for pressure gauge range selection, should it be based on the operating pressure downstream of PCV or upstream of PCV (to protect the pressure gauge in case the PCV fails)? PCV upstream pressure is 7.3 barg and downstream is 0.002 barg.

Please advise.
