Flange material, housing material and insulation (e.g. o-ring) are being chosen depending on chemical properties of the measured media and the process/ambient temperatures.

Regarding the chemical resistance - apart from the DuPont chemical resistance guide you can use the following Emerson chemical resistance chart:
