  • Muhammed,

    This is too broad a question to answer . You have state the application and other process details
    Rosemount manufacture three dectectors /methods specific to oxygen measurement as well
    as GC ( gas chromatograph)and QCL ( Quatumn Cascade Laser )that can measure Oxygen.

    Sensor/ Detection Method:
    1. Electro Chemical ( Electrolyte Cell) -- Extractive , consumable electrolyte , life is dependent on level
    of O2 measured.
    2. Zirconia Oxide : Insitu , high temperature f0r flue gas . Life can be years or months depending
    on the process.
    3. Paramagnetic Method: Electro mechanical cell , responds to O2 based on magnetic
    susceptibility of O2 .

    Search on Analytical web site for Model 6888/ 4000xtractive , Process Gas analyser , X-Stream fro associated data sheets.

    Mohammed , typing error 6888/ 4000 should read in-situ not extractive . Extractive methods apply to the PGA( Electro-chemical cell Paramagnetic methods) , GC and QCL.
  • 2. Zirconia Oxide : Insitu , high temperature f0r flue gas . Life can be years or months depending
    on the process.
    Dear Jim;

    Thank you for your reply, kindly consider the Zirconia OXide base sensor for the selection of Analyzer.

    Let me know if you want any info on these models, we have used most models of ZrO2 Emerson models in a variety of services.
    Not detracting from the Emerson reps here, of course.
