No one really wishes to use aspirators (air driven sampling systems) unless its unavoidable as they usually add to the maintenance demand of a facility. There are however three main reasons why they are used. These are when the installation point is too hot, too cold or too inaccessible for a gas or smoke detector to work, or be certified or be maintained.
We excel in designing and building aspirator systems for use in hazardous area. Our GDA aspirators are built using standard components in a modular arrangement. Each aspirator channel has the ability to test the detector, clear contamination from the sample line via an integral line purge and comes with a flow failure indication. The aspirator channel module can be replaced by removing just three bolts, so downtime is kept to an absolute minimum.
