Usually water quality is monitored continuously at the final discharge point from the wastewater treatment facility. It is rather difficult to identify the source of any water quality issues as there is usually no checkpoints in the upstream of the wastewater treatment line. Adding water quality monitoring points enable early detection of any faults in the line. However, in many cases, wastewater treatment lines are run in underground pipes of the plant. This makes it physically difficult to install the analyzers for pH monitoring.
We proposed the use of Rosemount Analytical Model 6081pH wireless liquid analyzers combined with a Smart Wireless Gateway. The wireless technology satisfies the customer’s need for continuous pH measurement, provides access to vital diagnostics from all the measurement points and significantly reduces the cost and time of maintenance.
