GC 700

How can a new GC700 unit fail the environmental chamber test?

  • Hi, Bonnie answering for Micheal Gaura. If you have more questions, let me know!

Rosemount Analytical has a history of providing durable, reliable and accurate on-line Gas Chromatographs with flexible mounting options to accommodate out-of-shelter installations in even the most extreme weather environments.

From product development to end user delivery, we focus on providing customers with GCs that perform to their intended engineered specifications and require minimal maintenance.

As part of our quality assurance processes and commitment to our customers, we test every GC in an environmental chamber at no additional cost before it leaves our facility. With temperatures inside of the chamber cycling between -18 °C (0F) to 54 °C (130 F), we may occasionally encounter a unit that does not perform to its expected level. In the rare event that this occurs, it is most often because one peak (component) was not properly separated or gated. In this case, we make the necessary adjustments and run unit testing until it passes a thorough inspection and is cleared for release. Again, this is why we test every unit, to ensure proper operation at customer start up.

    Thanks for the question!
