In this video from Bruce Greenwald he shows how a current effective alarm response procedure can be quickly accessed from the DeltaV graphic when an alarm occurs. The procedure is version controlled and stored in the Syncade Document Control and Archiving (DCA) application. The alarm procedure is easily configured in the faceplate to launch the read-only copy of the procedure by the click of a button. The displayed can be viewed or printed to assist the operator with dealing with the alarm. This also allows multiple response procedures to be created for a single module and tie different alarms to different procedures.
