Live Graph/Sparkline History

Hello,

I'm currently new to DeltaV Live and DeltaV overall from Honeywell. I am currently designing a graphic that uses some graphs and sparklines, and when I load the graphic I don't get the past history, just the history of the parameter of the line while the graphic is open. My past history with Honeywell graphics makes me think that the parameter is not historized but I see the parameter I'm using under History Collection. Is there further steps I need to take other than just using DLSYS[] under parameter expression? Is there a manual or example Live Sparkline or Graph that I can learn the correct configuration of?

  Hello Justin Singree, you might be right about the parameter not being historized. This may not be an issue with DeltaV Live Charts or Sparklines, but a setup problem. Is this a problem with a few parameters only? or all your parameters default to real time data? More information may be needed in order to help you out, but in the mean time, please check:
  1. In DeltaV Explorer locate the workstation that is being used as the historian server
  2. Expand the workstation and find the group called Continuous Historian, right click, select Properties and verify that the Enable check box is checked. If not, enable and download.
  3. Select that group by clicking on Continuous Historian and confirm that the areas of your plant that need to be collected historically are assigned to the continuous historian. If they are not, drag them from Control Strategies, and drop them in the Continuous Historian. Then download the Continuous historian.
