Disabling HDD, USB ports on Delta V worksation

I have Delta V 13.3.1 system with Windows 10 , I wanted to disable USB ports because of OT security concerns. Somehow , When I disable USB ports from DELL services , mouse and Keybord doesn't works, Can some one have an Idea how to disable these port without affecting Mouse and Keyboard operation.

Gajanan, disabling the ports completely will certainly prevent any use of USB ports as you’ve already experienced. You should use system security policies to prevent use of removable media instead, this way mice, keyboards and license dongles will continue to work, but USB media will be rejected by the system. The KBA # NK-1600-0336 available in Guardian provides all instructions to configure the system as you are looking for.

Dear Alexandre, I gone through this KBA , It seems that applicable for Domain , we have Delta V network in " Workgroup "

You can also secure unused ports with physical usb port locks. See the following examples:

Glad these USB port blockers are now available via Amazon. These port blocker are pretty easy to use; I use them at 3 of my plants.
