ask for help : how to commision the IO card

Hi,

I'm a new user of deltaV. I'v commisioned the controller but the IO card seems can't be auto-sensed. The message shows that the io device have been in the database series.

The io moduls are still flashing the with error.

  Can you give me a little more detail about your DeltaV system? M or S series? What version of DeltaV 10.3, 11.3, etc. I ran into this situation before with M-series controller but there can be other hw or power issue.

  Hi,
  deltaV is 11.3, controller is MQ I just found that the controller type shown in the property is wrong (it shows SX). Then I decommision it and try to set it to "MQ" but no such option to select.

  You will need to apply a DeltaV 11.3.1 hot fix for an MQ controller. This will allow your controller to be flash to this version. I have confident this will help your io cards auto sense issue. Here is a data sheet references on the hot fix. Call Global Service Center and they can help supplying you the hot fix.
