Redundant Controller - Standby

Hi All,

If I do an online change, does that change will reflect in the Standby controller or only in the Active controller?

My concern is that when the Active fails and let say there are a lot of online changes made, what happens after the switchover? would the online values still be there?

  Hi Gelo,
  As per my knowledge, it'll reflect in both controller. If one controller is fail also there is no problem, everything will run by with standby controller with changed online values.

  Yes, DeltaV's standard controller redundancy function will not require any additonal work to have both controllers synchronized.
