Downloading AO Card

Hello,

I am running version 11.3.1.

If I made a change to one my my AO channel (for instance channel 2) and I down the the AO card, will my other channels be effected (like go to off for a half second) during the download or just the channel I updated. I asking for precaution operations reasons.

  I know only about v 9.3.1 - other channels be effected

  Well, unfortunately in none of the DetlaV versions download at the "Channel" level is available. Therefore, you will have to download the complete AO card. As it happens, other channels on the same card will be affected (Temporarily status becomes bad). Therefore, proper care must be taken and this download should be coordinated with the operations personnel.

  In DeltaV 10.3.x and higher, assuming that the I/O module is flashed to the newer firmware revision, traditional cards may be downloaded such that only channels that have been modified lose communications. Channels that have not been modified are not downloaded, and should be unaffected by the download.
