acutally i have problem with starting the xi reporter on the deltav , it's showing on the excel add-in the " server may not running or the server is intiailing to start " and when i check it in the windows services the xi server service was not running and the i couldn't start it also i couldn't find the XI.Clinet app in the deltav\bin.
if you have idea or some kind of producer on how to strat it please share it.

I would first check that both the Xi Server and the Discovery Server services have started. They both depend on the DeltaV service as well. Not a common issue but you also need to make sure the Xi Server is re-installed after any upgrades. You also didn't mention where you are running the services. By default it would be the ProPlus.

As i have mentioned in my post i tried to start the service but it wont start and for discovery yes it's started .
i am trying to start this server on one engineering workstation.
also is there any other configuration i should make other than configuring the OCP Xi file which found the C:\ProgramData\OPC Xi\XiServerUrls before i start the service , it could be for that reason the service wont start.
