Option to Mask Bad Input (IN1,IN2) to the Integrator FB

Since the Integrator function block usually has its input signal  cascaded (from an AI channel)  via an upstream  AI or PID block, would like to see an option added to the INT FB to ignore an input (therefore stopping / pausing) the integration if the input signal has BAD status propagated from upstream block. Any thoughts ?

  • Agree. An option in INT FB under STATUS_OPTS with 'TARGET TO Manual if Bad IN' would be nice.

Alternatively, you can include an ACTION FB to handle detection of BAD status from upstream block and force the INT FB to Manual and revert it back to Auto once the BAD status goes away.
