The relatively low prices of natural gas in North America and the abundance of supply has set the stage where natural gas is the energy choice for the future. With the BOE (barrel of oil equivalent) price to do work with oil at almost a 4X premium to natural gas, new sources of demand and monetization will take advantage of this low cost energy source. The questions are:

  • How will the industry best monetize this opportunity?
  • What are the regulatory hurdles that stand in the way?
  • How many LNG export facilities will be built and which projects will be granted export permits?
  • Where will the resources come from to develop the new infrastructure?
  • How do we optimize our current processes to do more with what we currently have?

Come and participate in the panel discussion where leading industry experts discuss these topics from a regulatory, producer/exporter, EPC, and automation panelist perspective.

Panelists:

Jeff C. Wright, Federal Energy Regulatory Commission Director, Office of Energy Projects

Mark Mateker, VP of Oil and Gas, KBR

Larry Irving, VP Oil & Gas Industry Solutions, Emerson
