Materials and books on Wireless Technologies for Process Automation

Hi all,

I'm trying to educate myself more on Wireless technologies and how they relate to Process Automoation. I was wondering if anyone has any suggestions on any quality resources available out there. I've found "Wireless Control Foundation Continuous and Discrete Control for the Process Industry" to be one of the most recent and was curious if anyone else had any recommendations.

Thanks,
-Timothy Quigley

    Hi Timothy,

you could always attend a Emereson course about the subject.

We offer excellent courses about wireless technology, maybe there are also some online courses in the Process university?

You could contact your local office fore more information.

There are great learning resources on the Emerson Smart Wireless web site. Google it by name. There are application ideas, end-user success stories, planning tools and engineering guides. Sure, some of the material is Marketing; but, there are enough substantial resources to make the site visit worthwhile
