Session Abstract:
Local regulations in Russia require all radar level transmitters to be periodically periodically. Current verification methods are costly & time consuming. In close collaboration with ROSTEST, Emerson has developed a method & an instrument for field verification of radar level transmitters. With the new GOST approved Transmitter Verification Station customers can save several man hours per verification, eliminate need for expensive test rigs including transferring product during verification, keep personnel off the tanks & still meet GOST regulations.
