Session Abstract:
The presentation describes the activities performed for the Control Strategy Upgrade of the Biomass Power Plant at Enna (ITALY) owned & operated by RWE Group. The topics presented include: description of the Owner intention from the feasibility study of the project to the objectives achieved & the reasons that led RWE to select Emerson as supplier; Description of the plant with the technology adopted, system architecture & field devices; the major pains during the initial running period; Data analysis & related development of new design (HW&SW); Implemented modifications.
