Custody Transfer for Bioethanol at Biowanze

Session Abstract:

Bioethanol is produced from fermentation of renewable resources as wheat & beet to produce biofuels in conformance to the 2009/28/CE European directive. Adding bioethanol to fuels can reduce up to 70% of greenhouse gases emissions.  Emerson developed a custody transfer skid in accordance with 2004/22/EC directive for flow & alcohol concentration . Biowanze, located in Belgium,  is a subsidiary of CropEnergies AG & is a leader in the European bioethanol market.
