Session Abstract
The Paks NPP (Nuclear Power Plant) has been producing energy since the early 80’s. Initially, any vibration and thermal problems had to be resolved using the basic Russian monitoring system and off-line measurements to support maintenance decisions. Last year the system was upgraded with an Emerson CSI 6500 Machinery Health Monitor. The reconstruction work and the test operation of the system in Unit 1 is now complete and this presentation provides an
overview of the installed system, and the experiences to date.
