Session Abstract
The presentation provides a description of the use of wireless equipment at the RWE UGS DD underground gas storage facility at Dolni Dunajovice, Czech Republic. Five wireless gateways and approximately 100 transmitters (some using THUM adapters) are used to measure pressure, temperature, level and control valve position of different sections of a natural gas pipeline. Future plans include extending the number and type of wireless transmitters installed, transmitting data back from remotely located wells and testing limit switches for on-off valves.
