Session Abstract
Key factors to consider when designing SCADA solutions are reliability and robustness of the system when used in harsh environments, low bandwidth communications, and available power supply. In this presentation ATGS shares its 20 years worth of experience creating SCADA systems based on Emerson’s ControlWave product family for applications at many major Russian oil and gas sites. The presentation will also look at the latest SCADA developments including remote control points/autonomous power supplies and utilising WirelessHART technology.
