The recent PWoC Qingdao was a resounding success seeing an attendance of some 360 Emerson’s customers.  This was a cross divisional event and Fisher business was one of the participating teams.  Event was at Shangri-la Hotel, Qingdao. 

Emerson’s solutions were presented around 4 themes via product demonstrations and displays.  They were the Control Room, Board Room, Maintenance Workshop and Project Room.  For control valve, topics were:

• Power: Control valve solutions
• Plant bottomline via Valvelink: Prediction and diagnosis for costs reduction and operational optimization
• Plant design via Specification Manager: Main automated vendor and best use of resources
• Intelligent diagnosis: Predictive maintenance and diagnosis.

Hands-on demo included ValveLink, alarm alerts and diagnosis and the Fisher Specification Manger which showcased the ability to import and export control valve data into the Intergraph In-Tools software within it.

The last PWoC for 2012 was in India in Feb and the next upcoming one is expected to be in Perth in Aug 2012 (time estimated, subject to change).
