Video: Reliable Coke Oven Gas Flow Measurement

In this 28:58 video from the Emerson Exchange Grapevine conference, Emerson's Paul Yankello shares an effective way to measure flow in coke ovens. His presentation's abstract:

Coke oven gas flow is known to be one of the most difficult flow measurements to make due to the low line pressure and dirty, sticky, plugging nature of coke oven gas. This work shop will examine the features of the Rosemount Mass Probar, which allows for reliable coke oven gas measurement. We will also examine a real world installation at a north eastern coke plant. As a result of implementation, this facility has been able to improve visibility into their battery operations, reduce maintenance costs, improve plant gas distribution, and improve operational efficiency.
