Emerson Exchange Americas: Call for Presentations Abstracts due March 17

Following on the success of the 2013 conference, we are pleased to issue this year's Call for Presentations. The 2014 Emerson Global Users Exchange Americas, to be held October 6th through October 10th at the Gaylord Palms in Orlando, FL, needs your excellent presentations and user content to continue the tradition of our high quality, user-driven conference. The theme of this year's Emerson Exchange is 'Inspiring Ingenuity' – an opportunity to meet with industry professionals and peers in an exhilarating environment where creativity, inventiveness and talent work in synergy.

The Emerson Global Users Exchange continues to improve every year. The primary goal of the Exchange users board of directors is to continue to increase the quality of the content by selecting the best Workshops and Short Courses submitted by end users, local business partners, third party partners and Emerson subject matter experts. Additionally, provided at the conference, there are CEU-Certified Educational Courses, Industry Forums to share with others in your field, Technology Forums for the latest on automation innovations, and Meet the Experts sessions for direct access to relevant technology specialists.

With this Call for Presentations, we invite you to share your ideas, project results and knowledge with your colleagues by presenting at this year's conference. Submit an abstract, or visit the Call for Presentations section of the Emerson Exchange website at http://www.emersonexchange.org. A list of abstract acceptance tips is provided on the website to help guide prospective presenters.

If you have submitted an abstract for previous conferences, you might notice the new "Session Category" and "Key Word" fields in this year's abstract form. These fields have been added to not only help attendees more easily discover conference sessions that interest them, but also to correlate sessions with the functionality of the products or services being presented. The new Session Categories also follow the layout of Emerson's solutions in the Exhibits hall.

Presentation abstracts are due by Monday, March 17th, 2014. A waiver of registration fees will be granted for the listed "presenter" for each accepted Workshop. Two fee waivers will be granted for the listed "presenters" for each accepted Short Course. Fee waivers are contingent upon final acceptance of your PowerPoint™ presentation by July 1st, 2014 and approval by the Presentations committee mentors. Each track will have an award for "Best in Conference", with a formal presentation at the conference.

We look forward to receiving and considering your abstract!
