Solution for feedbacks and highlighting information

Hi all,

I am looking for some user-friendly solution which can help me in my job ( regarding feedbacks generally ). The best example is any case than I have next:

I will open any article in IE ( any browser ) and I will see any info which is important for me, but around is next text. Because of this I must highlight it in any way. Normaly I make screenshot, save it into any application, highlight, save picture again and add this picture i.e. into e-mail. Similar solution can be with Acrobat ( but I need article print-out in *.pdf first for next steps ).

Above ways are not so user-friendly / effective. My idea is any application which runs on backround and can be activated with any shortcut to use it. My ideal case is make any "highlighting" anywhere on the "monitor screen" - independent of the opened application, some small fuctionality like text / circuit / squere highlighting types with border or fulfilled type. The ideal process is open i.e. article in IE, push key shortcut, highlight what I want, make monitor screenshot and insert screenshot into e-mail directly (ctrl+V ) - in email I will only resize / crop picture.

Do anybody use similar described solution? Thanks for sharing....

If you are currently running Windows Vista or Windows 7, all the tools you need are available.

    - Text selection in IE can be accomplished for a single string by simply dragging the mouse over the text. Holding down the CTRL key while dragging allows you to select multiple strings.

    - The Windows Vista/7 Snipping Tool allows you to select a region for screen capture (Freehand, rectangular, whole window, or full-screen). The tool has some limited editing capabilities (hand-drawings and highlighting). The tool also includes the ability to send the screen capture to your default email program as either an embedded image, or an attachment.

    - The Snipping Tool does not have a default keyboard shortcut, but you can assign one to the application. The process is described here: www.intowindows.com/how-to-create-a-keyboard-shortcut-for-snipping-tool-in-windows-7

    Hope this helps.

Ray, thanks for solution ( I will use it later, because of I am currently running on XP ). I am sorry I forgot to add this information.

Radomir, for XP you should have the same highlighting capabilities. There are several commercial screen capture utilities (I use the one here: http://bit.ly/spI07O). This one also has video capture capabilities, and has several output profiles to send to email or other applications. I particularly like the "Narrate" functions when I'm recording a video demo for customer support and training.

Ray, thanks - it seems good. You know there is thounsand applications and better is ask for user experience instead of install / deinstall and check next few.... I will try trial version...
