FlexConnect wiring solutions provide connectivity between one systems’ field device wires and the DeltaV I/O card terminal blocks through cables, replacement termination / marshalling panels, and/or interface panels to the existing termination panels. FlexConnect Solutions can save you a considerable amount of time and can reduce the design effort when migrating legacy systems to the DeltaV DCS; field wires are left untouched on the legacy termination / marshalling panels.
Since my last post on FlexConnect Solutions, we’ve released replacement Field Termination Assemblies (FTA) solutions for the Honeywell TDC 3000 DCS platform.
Also, we’ll have prototypes on-hand at Emerson Exchange of the future DeltaV signal conditioning cards for Allen-Bradley PLC-5 / 1771 I/O and cable solutions for the ABB Symphony Bailey INFI 90 system.
In addition to the DCS platforms noted above, we have wiring solutions available for the following legacy DCS’; ABB Symphony DCI System 6 (formerly Fischer and Porter), Schneider – Foxboro I/A Series 100 & 200 I/O, Honeywell TDC 2000 and Honeywell IPC 620.
