As always, we at Emerson Process Management are continuing to improve our solutions and tools for simplifying the migration of legacy distributed control systems (DCS) to the DeltaV™ process automation system.
RS3 database extraction, display conversion, and I/O configuration are available through Emerson Process Management’s Tool Assisted Services program. These deliverables are used to provide more detailed information about your existing legacy system and further enables your migration to the DeltaV process automation system. These deliverables lend valuable insight early in the bid phase of projects as well as in the detailed engineering phase.

Controller replacement using the M-series DeltaV Migration Controller Interface for RS3 I/O solution where only the existing RS3 I/O Flex-Terms and termination panels are left in place.
Flex-Term replacement using FlexConnect™ Solutions that only retains the existing RS3 termination panels (Multi-Point FIM, Serial / Analog FIC, and Contact FIC).
System replacement using I/O on Demand – Electronic Marshalling solutions for modernizations; 19 inch rack mount CHARMs and CIOC mounting solutions that will fit in your existing RS3 cabinet enclosures.
