enter decimal number from HMI by oerator

Dear all,

evening!

I want to enter decimal number from hmi, so for this i should use dot (.) but in deltav ver 12.3 i shoud use comma (,)

 {dot  isnot acceptble }

for decimals number dot is usual.

your kind advices would be highly appreciated for solving my question.

  is there any body?
  for exmple when I want to enter 1.5 in data entry from HMI ,It cannt recognize 1.5 so it will show 15 so it will confuse operator.
  what's the solution?

  I think when you specify data entry for a specific datalink in DeltaV configure, there is an option to allow digits entered after decimal on the datalink data entry options. You can change digits before and after decimal.

  Did you change Regional settings on the workstation after DeltaV installation?
