I am facing an issue while working with the foundation fieldbus system.
In my control strategy I have attached both PID & AO block with the control valve positioner FF blocks. It is working perfectly in normal condition. Now the issue is: For any reason if my field device malfunctions and sends a bad signal via AO block, PID is holding its last output value. But once the AO become healthy PID output becomes Zero(0) which is badly affecting the process control.
I need a solution so that while AO switches from a bad to healthy state PID output remains unchanged until user intervention.
Please guide me if there is any specific configuration needed in PID or AO block or anything else.
