AMS Alert Monitor_Device Group

I'm a new user of Alert Monitor. Just curious how folks set up there Device Group setting. I have started out using it as a priority index for Polling Rate.

  The Device Groups can be used as you had started and assign a Priority to each polling group, but depending on the Host System Interface (HSI) being used, i.e. DeltaV or Multiplexer HSI, polling may no longer apply and the Alert Monitor would be utilizing Fast Scanning via DeltaV or Enhanced Polling via Multiplexers so a Polling priority may not be needed, please refer to the AMS Device Manager Books Online for more information around Alert Monitor Polling.
  
  Many customers will now use the Device Groups for Alert Criticality, please contact your Emerson Sales office or reach out to other AMS Device Manager users to see how they have used these Device Groups.
