I just completed The Boom a book by Russell Gold @RussellGold energy reporter for the Wall Street Journal. It's a great read and provides a historical perspective of the rise of shale gas revolution and the amazing story behind how fracking was developed over the years. Talk about taking big risks! - some of personalities and their companies are (and were) larger than life. The back end of the book takes a critical look at the potential environmental concerns.
