Coming Soon - New gateway 1552WU that combines WirelessHart and Wifi technology in One Unit

Update from Emerson Exchange 2013 event about Cisco Aironet 1552WU Gateway Access Point (AP) which was jointly developed by Emerson and Cisco.

This access point has both Wi-Fi and WirelessHART in the white box and it is expected to be available in the fourth quarter of 2013.  If you missed your chance to see this new gateway at Emerson Exchange this year, you'll still have your chance to see and explore the capability of this new gateway at upcoming JEMIMA show in Tokyo !

  Andres, we have many installations for the 1552H Access Point paired with a 1420 Gateway. The 1552WU is both those boxes combined, so it is very similar. The 1552WU will be released very soon and much more information will be available at that time.

  Thanks Neil,  I m working  in a architecture  with 12 Gateways for a refinery in Argentina, and the 1552wu  is a good option, the other option is the Prosoft Equipment.
