Hi Everyone!  I'm Natalie Charles with North American (NA) PSS Sales Territory Support and Business Development based in Austin, TX (Hook 'Em!).  I work with and in support of our local business partner's in Eastern Canada, the Upper Mid-West, and Gulf Coast regions on sales activity for all unassigned accounts and pursuits and have been in this role for the past year.  All told, I've been with Emerson for the past 4 and change years since I first started out in the NA PSS Sales Life Science team doing industry research to identify new customers and sales opportunities followed by work on the NA PSS Opportunity Review Process and Board to collaboratively review strategic NA pursuits within the Think Customer framework.

Am a part of this group to learn from everyone else here and share what I can.  Congrats to the 365 team for getting this going!

  • Jim and all the rest - I am glad to be here!!!

I'm Youssef El-Bahtimy,  Systems Engineer at PROCONEX,  the Philadelphia Area Local Business Partner.

I've been working in industrial automation and control for over 11 years, with expertise in design and implementation of both continuous and batch processes for DCS and PLC, manufacturing execution systems (MES), systems integration via OPC and Ethernet IP, data management and reporting, custom intranet application programming, and network administration.

I'm excited to have a forum to increase my knowledge and understanding of industry topics and opportunities, and to provide my expertise where necessary.

  • Hi everyone.  Tim Alosi here.  I work up in Boston for New England Control the local Emerson Business Partner.   Focus areas is operations management (Syncade) and automation (DeltaV)

  • Hi!  I'm the program head of Automation and Instrumentation at the British Columbia Institute of Technology.  It is a practical, engineering-based program that is focused on the application of automation and measurement technologies.  At this time DeltaV is used to control a modern Nebraska boiler and vapour / liquid heat exchangers.  DeltaV simulation licenses provide a programming / configuration environment for students to implement control strategies.

I'd like to learn from the wealth of experience out there and am particularily interested in challenging DeltaV applications and the issues they present.  I'd like to collaborate with anyone wanting to experiment or "try out" new ideas or test solutions.  My goal:  Keep myself and our program current and relevant to industry's automation needs.

    Thanks!

  • Great to be a part of the new community, having a wonderful time here in Nashville at the biggest Exchange EVER!  Also looking forward to the European edition coming in May 2012.

  • Thanks for creating the online community.  I’m interested to see what types of contributions and ideas we collect.  I’m Jeff Blair from St. Louis.  I work for Emerson Process Management - Rosemount Measurement.  My passions are the application engineering, training and configuration that lead to successful start-ups and operations for our customer base here in the Midwest.  As a volunteer, I work with the local ISA Section to help recruit speakers and find topics that the local St. Louis instrumentation and control community will enjoy at our monthly networking and education meeting.  I’ll look on the community to contribute and keep my eyes open for anyone interested in taking their Emerson Exchange presentation “on the road.”
