Many control rooms today can be poorly lit, cramped and create fatigue-inducing environments that can have a negative impact on operator performance. In this video, I will describe how by introducing a conscientious formal design process through Emerson’s Control and Operator Performance Center, we can increase situational awareness and assure operator effectiveness.
