I realize that this is an old question but I thought I would respond. You could use a custom schedule in DeltaV which changes the picture . You could include a timer object in your graphics (a toolbar is a good location) that executes periodically and changes the display that is shown.
Additionally, you could choose a technology for your overview screens themselves that resists burn in. Many televisions have a feature that moves the image by a few pixels to combat this or have a "whitewash" image that they can flash to clear the burn in.
