We have an older DeltaV system at our site (v11.3.1). I have a phase class, let's call it TANK_DISCARD. There is a hard-coded reference in the TANK_DISCARD phase class run logic to a control module, let's call it TANK_SCALE. (As I side note, I know we probably shouldn't have made a hard-coded reference in the first place, but that's the hand I've been dealt and am stuck with.)
I am planning to re-name the TANK_SCALE control module, let's say to TANK_SCALE_NEW. I update the TANK_SCALE control module name to TANK_SCALE_NEW, and download the TANK_SCALE_NEW control module.
Does anyone know if the TANK_DISCARD phase class would automatically update its hard-coded reference to the updated TANK_SCALE_NEW control module name? Or would I need to manually update the TANK_DISCARD phase class to change the hard-coded reference from TANK_SCALE to TANK_SCALE_NEW?
