DeltaV database

I am new to DeltaV; is there a way of opening the database to view/edit the tags used in the application? I am running v12.3.1.

  First of all I would advise you to attend one of the courses on DeltaV configuration given by Emerson all over the world.
  So, what do you mean with the word 'tags'? Control Modules, IO?
  The configuration containing the Control Modules can be viewed, created and changed starting with the DeltaV Explorer.
  Using DeltaV Explorer you can view the IO-configuration from the menu: Applications/IO Configuration.
